Welcome to the Global Lives Project translation coordination page!

Translating and subtitling video is an extremely important part of the Global Lives Project and we depend 100% on volunteers to make this possible.

Remember while you translate that by sharing your linguistic skills with our community, you are offering the world a window into a language, a culture and a reality that might otherwise remain remote and inaccessible.

All translators who complete 15 minutes of transcription & translation will receive a free trilingual Global Lives Project DVD with video from Malawi, Japan, Brazil and the US! If you prefer to only transcribe or only translate, you can do 30 minutes of either, if there are available sections.

To start, click on the name of the subject whose day and life story you will be translating:

Short Videos - Need translations from either English, Portuguese or Japanese to all other languages.
