For Producers
Producing a 24-hour Global Lives video is a unique and rewarding experience. The interactions between volunteer producers, crew, translators and the video subjects offer a chance to learn about other cultures and make new friends from around the world.
Producing, editing, and translating a 24-hour continuous video is also uniquely challenging. You must plan and prepare as you choose your location and participant, gather your crew and equipment, shoot your video, and prepare your video for exhibition and distribution.
We’ve compiled some detailed guidelines in our production guide that will assist you with pre-production, day of production, and post-production tasks.
