Bio

Dawa received an associates degree from India and a BFA from Point Park College, Pittsburgh, USA. Dawa loves working in film. Apart from filmmaking he keeps keen interest in Tibetan Buddhism. He has received numerous teachings from Yurgen Tulku Rinpoche (incarnated). While working with western filmmakers who came to Nepal to document aspects of Tibetan and Nepali culture he discovered his own interest in pursuing a career in film and video production. Dawa hope that someday he may also document the lives of the Tibetan people and Nepali people capturing their relationships to each other, to Tibet and to their adopted homelands.
