Bio

Rachel Gist holds a B.A in Film Production from the University of Southern California. Her passion for film stemmed from her love of travel and photography, which led her to documentary filmmaking. In more recent years Rachel has worked as both a director and cinematographer for two films which became official selections at the Newport Beach Film Festival. She also directed her thesis film at USC titled, 'On The Surface.' While living in Los Angeles, Rachel worked in development at Color Force, assisting Hunger Games producer Nina Jacobson. She also had the opportunity to personally assist elusive director Terrence Malick on his new feature 'Knight of Cups.' Rachel is putting her passion for filmmaking and travel to use as the producer for the Global Lives Korea shoot.
