Bio

Michael Stulberg is a freelance photojournalist and fine-arts photographer. Since moving to Seoul in 2012, Michael has become a key contributor to 'Chincha,' one of the largest foreigner-written online publications in South Korea. Michael has documented a number of events through his photo essays, including a selection of club parties, concerts, and Seoul's second showing of the Future Shorts Film Festival. Michael has also written and captured a number of photo essays analyzing current social, cultural, and economic trends in South Korea. These photo essays include articles on the disorienting nature of Seoul's subway system, the hidden slums of Gangnam, and his impressions of Korea. He shoots on a Nikon D90 with a variety of prime lenses.
