Daniel Dennis Jones, Producer/Director/Editor/Videographer
Daniel is a young, but accomplished videographer with significant experience in media and international productions. Daniel is presently the supervisor of the Education for the Arts Media Lab, a state-of-the-art video editing and design studio that serves exceptionally creative public high school students selected from seven school districts in Southwestern Michigan. He received his B.A. with Honors in 2004 from Hunter College of the City University of New York. As an undergraduate, he took on several jobs and internships in radio, online, print, and television media. In 2002, he was sponsored by Reuters to attend the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he produced and directed a feature length documentary called Two Weeks in Johannesburg. The documentary has been screened at theaters, at high schools and colleges around the world, and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. In 2002, Daniel received the Morris K. Udall scholarship, which sent him to study international environmental issues in both Costa Rica and Guam. His most recent camera work was with The Million Calorie March, documenting a four-month charity walk to fight obesity in America.
