(Seven Steps to a perfect GLP translation)

Jason Price, Global Lives Malawi Director and post-production genius, came up with the following seven-step process for managing translation of the GLP Malawi shoot:

Step 1 - Draft Transcription, completed by One or more volunteers.

Step 2 - Transcription Revision for Content - completed by a trusted volunteer.

Step 3 - Transcription Revision for Timecode & Style - completed by Post-Production manager or delegate.

Step 4 - Lock Clip (Mark Transcript as Complete)

Step 5 - Draft Translation, completed by One or more volunteers.

Step 6 - Translation Revision for Content - completed by a trusted volunteer.

Step 7 - Translation Revision for Stlye & Tone - completed by Translation Coordinators to insure continuity

Please post here if you have any questions about this or ideas on how to improve it. If there are no suggestions for changes, we'll be formalizing this soon.

Thanks!
