Robert Eagle, Pre-Production Coordinator
Since completing a masters in Visual Anthropology, Robert has spent the past two years working in television documentary production in the UK for various networks, including Discovery Channel and the BBC. Through various projects, he has built up a network of journalists and producers in the Balkans, which is what drew him to propose Serbia for Global Lives. Currently in the pipeline he has an observational documentary on drug trafficking in development for TV in the UK. Most recent project as producer/director:

Marko Popović, Executive Producer & Post-production lead
Marko is a film and TV director at Serbia’s greatly esteemed B92 Media. Since studying film and television direction in Prague and Belgrade, he has directed a number of TV and feature-length documentaries, short films, television shows, commercials and films for companies and NGOs. His films have been selected for and even garnered awards at festivals in Sarajevo, Prague, Toronto, Glasgow and more.

Ana Lakčević, Producer & Post-production lead
Ana studied ethnology and anthropology in Belgrade. She has been working as an assistant at the socio-cultural anthropology seminars in Petnica Science Center for 6 years. She is currently working as the Project Manager for the PUNKT Association and ProArtOrg. www.proartorg.com

Stefan Ivanović, Producer
After studying photography and camera operation in Belgrade, Stefan worked as a cameraman at a local TV station, TV KOP. In November 2008, Stefan had a solo photographic exhibition at the Klovicevi Dvori Gallery in Zagreb, Croatia. Juliane Bittencourt, Producer
Juliane is a journalist, originally from Brazil. She has been producing social issues documentaries in the UK for the last two years. In 2008, she founded a charity to give young people in Brazil the opportunity to express themselves through filmmaking and story-telling. www.videomanifesto.org

Hes Mundt, Camera Operator
Hes has been a freelance cameraman for 19 years now, working for Dutch National TV and public stations like the VPRO, NPS. He has shot a number of documentaries on political subjects and music.

David Szepesi, Director of Photography Budapest, Hungary

Dragan Petrović, Camera Operator
A photographer and camera operator, Dragan worked as an assistant at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade for five years from 1998 to 2003. He is the author of a textbook about photography theory, Photography, published in 2000. He held four solo photography exhibitions at the Student Culture Center, Belgrade from 1992 to 1995. Dragan then took part in Belgrade’s September and October Art Salons in 2004 and then in a group exhibition "Contemporary Serbian Photography" at the Gallery "Fotohof", Salzburg, Austria in 2005.

Srdjan Srdjanov, Camera Operator
Based in Novi Sad, Serbia, Srdjan has been photographing and filming his world for 9 years. In addition to shooting commercial photographs, his work has garnered awards, including national student competitions, a UN photo contest and a competition for photography magazine Refoto. He was a camera operator in the field for a local TV station (TV Panonija), where he also worked on documentary projects. Srdjan is currently a final year journalism student at the University of Novi Sad and is involved in creating a photography book of Novi Sad.

With experience as a director and photographer, Zeljko is currently studying Art History in Belgrade.

Max Kesberger, Photographer
Having completed an apprenticeship, Max is currently working as a freelance photographer for local organisations in Germany. He is interested in social issues and currently is preparing a project about the way of life in Germany and neighbouring countries. http://www.maxkesberger.com/

Emile Holba, Photographer
After a successful background in business management, Emile decided to build a new career as a documentary photographer. Stewart Weir, Photographer
Stewart’s photographs have been published in Vogue (Brazil), The Times, The Guardian, El Pais, Esquire, GQ and Le Figaro, among many others. He has also been commissioned to produce images for 27 books and has travelled extensively on assignments throughout the world.
